Personnel Health Protection

Open cooling water system is subject to water pollution and, as a result, the bacteria of miscellaneous sorts proliferate fast to become a grave threat to human health by dissipating the bacteria containing vapor. A popular disease from open water cooling system is legionnaire that endangers human life by causing pneumonia, which is especially true for people living & working in the buildings with central air conditioners. Closed circuit cooling tower has the largest proportion of cooling water circulating inside enclosed loop, thus is not subject to water pollution. The specially designed louvers not only reduce the limited spray water drift to minimum level, but also effectively stop outside sunlight and particles from entering the tower basin cultivating the growth of bacteria.

Tube Scaling Prevention

Most scaling & fouling problems are caused by impurities brought into cooling tubes by process cooling water, which will easily damage heat rejection equipment like melting furnaces, some cases of which involve personnel safety issues. For other equipments like central air conditioner, generators, compressors etc, scaling problems are one of the main reasons for lower operation efficiency and souring maintenance cost. Closed circuit cooling tower eliminates the scaling problems by running de-mineralized process water inside the closed circuit cooling coils so that scaling problem is reduced to the lowest level if not completely eradicated.

Energy Saving

Variable frequency control ( VFC) is an option for flexible adjustment of the number and speed of working cooling fans to ambient temperature changes, the data of which can be preset at a certain figure. During winter season, the spray water stops automatically when ambient temperature drops to a certain level using only a set number of operating fans to satisfy the reduced cooling requirements.

CCCT system adopts 100% closed circuit circulation for process fluid that saves water from loss in any form. Special baffle is used to reduce unavoidable spray water loss to the lowest point without negative impact on the cooling efficiency. Space Saving

Closed circuit cooling tower is designed to operate within very limited space, accounting for 1/4-1/5 that of open cooling system, saving any form of ground construction. The effective drift eliminator baffle enables closed circuit cooling towers to be used indoors close to production line without wetting the groud.

Investment Saving

Closed circuit cooling tower has self-attached water basin and fully enclosed cooling coils for preservation of cooling water that saves any form of ground construction cost. Under open cooling tower system, the large water pool is a necessity to supply all process cooling water, and the related investment will be of no use if the open cooling tower is to be re-installed to a different site.

User Friendly

Yanye closed circuit cooling tower can be controlled via remote control panel with clearly defined functional push-buttons and digital display system. Automatic Light & Sound alarm system is installed to remind the operator of extreme working conditions of the cooling system for on time adjustment; VFC technology is available for automatic setting of the cooling tower operation data following ambient changes without human interference.
